The company can buy shares back. When a company repurchases its own stock and holds onto it as an asset, this is referred to an "Treasury Stock"

When a company buys back a large number of its shares in one transaction
Companies often do this when they have a lot of cash and feel their share price is under valued.
This process usually leads to an increase in the share price due to less shares being available in the market
In contrast to a normal share buy back, which can often take weeks and the price paid would be different every day
